Go Solo!

Solo Travel.
Travelling solo, in my opinion is by far the best way to travel. Everyone should go solo! Don’t get me wrong, having a ๐Ÿ˜Ž holiday with your friends is great & can be fantastic fun, but to travel solo is a completely different experience than having some fun in the sun with your f**ked up friends. When you go solo, you’re not just there, bouncing around town like a clown. The mind-set is much more focused on experiencing the actual culture of the country you visit & taking in the stunning scenery & architecture thats on offer in your chosen destination.

Architecture like this in Valencia,

Or like this in Barcelona,

It’s not just all about sightseeing & architecture though, thats just me being nice & putting some visuals in there for you. ๐Ÿ˜€

Solo travel opens your eyes wide & broadens the mind, it changes you in many positive ways. Helping you grow as an individual, becoming more independent. You start to see life on a different perspective, learning so much more about yourself while growing in confidence each time you travel. Which also brings great personal satisfaction & strength of character. You put your inner-warrior๐Ÿ‘บon show when you start travelling solo.

Don’t be afraid to travel alone. It’s a ๐Ÿ˜Ž thing to do. Be brave & open yourself to the fantastic experiences & new opportunities that going solo brings.

When you go solo, you just go with the flow. Travelling to wherever you want to go, doing whatever you want to do & seeing what you want to see. It’s all up to you & you alone. You travel like a pro when you go solo & you’ll have no regrets about making that decision to strap on your backpack, stand tall & travel on your own because I guarantee you’ll enjoy every moment of it. So what are you waiting for? You’re strong enough to accomplish anything if you put your mind to it.

& if like some, you’re stuck in a rut, then don’t just get off your nut. Start living life to the max, strap on a backpack & travel the unbeaten tracks. Because then & only then, you’ll be a man my son. Wow sorry, I got a bit carried away in the moment there.๐Ÿ˜€

My next solo travel trip to the Netherlands is coming up soon. I’m looking forward to it & I’ll be sure to let you know how things go when I go solo!

Take care everyone!

Thanks for reading &…….

  1. Wonderful absolutely inspiring post thank you so much for sharing your experiences here!
I’ve always been a solo traveler and, being a woman, people often find it questionable and think I’m some insane hermit for doing so. However, like you, I have found that it has opened my mind and made me more courageous for events as they come to me, having to confront situations on my own.
I even recently opened up my blog, once solely a book blog, to also include my trips, advice, and travel gallery. If you’re also interested in following my wandering adventures here’s the link to my blog as well ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I absolutely agree. Travelling solo is something everybody should experience at some point in their life! Make your own plans, or decide not to make any…book a well-reviewed restaurant or jump into the one that seems more captivating on the street…make it YOUR trip! Youโ€™ll discover so much more about the country youโ€™re visiting, and about yourself!

  3. Spoken like a true warrior! Iv’e often found out that if you can’t travel solo, make sure you travel with the right people! Everyone has their own agenda and it can ruin your trip because someone wants to drink in the hotel every day while you would rather be out sightseeing.

I’m looking forward to your post about the Netherlands!

  4. Spot on, Warrior. Couldn’t have written it any better myself. I’ve just come back from a solo trip to the Maldives. A few people thought I was a bit strange, given what a classic honeymoon destination it was, but I couldn’t give a rat’s a**. The place, local people and scenery were all stunning and I had an awesome time. And I deserved to experience those things, as much as any Mr and Mrs Smith!

Since coming back, it’s inspired me to start my own travel business, focusing exclusively on solo travelling. It’s called GO SOLO! Travel, and I will basically help and book people’s holidays abroad, tailoring them to the individual traveller’s needs.

I’m starting off with destinations to The Maldives, Canada, Australia, US and parts of Europe, since they’re are all countries I’ve been to myself. Watch this space!

Finally, I know travelling on your own can be scary at times, and we all have our individual fears, but I agree- it’s all about embracing those, challenging them and having a bloody good time. And hey, thank goodness for the selfie stick! (I never thought I’d hear myself say that!)

    Keep writing great posts, Warrior!
