Its coastal length is a fantastic 70km (43.5 miles) with warm, clear water that does’nt exceed 7 metres in depth. It belongs to four municipalities, Catagena, San Javier, Los Alcazares & San Pedro Del Pinatar.

The lagoon is high in salinity, which aids flotation & has a remarkable sporting infrastructure, making it one of the most popular places in Europe for the practice & training of all kinds of watersports & also has fabulous health benefits to be gained from the salinity in the lagoon.
